For anyone not intimately familiar with Moto Grand Prix racing, the tutorial mode is a prerequisite. The usual assortment of racing modes is offered, including online play. This game is obviously built by motorcycle racing fans, and demands that you play it as such. Speed, difficulty of the track, and risk/reward are all distilled into a perfect mix of racing delight. MotoGP 3 errs more on the side of Gran Turismo and other sim racing games in that the beauty lies in the complexity of its finely tuned controls. If you're a big fan of the aforementioned Mr. Where Namco's Moto series leaves me cold, the controls is where this THQ title takes flight.
